About us
A Lusitanian Style Born from a passion for welcoming guests and a desire to create authentic experiences for those visiting the Alentejo coast and the Vicentine coast. Founded by a family with roots in the Alentejo, the company was created with the purpose of uniting comfort, tradition, and Portuguese hospitality in one place.
Chef at Home
On Monte Lusitano, everything happens at the rhythm of the earth. The light enters slowly, the days lengthen – and time here is savoured too.
It is in this serene setting that a new experience, designed for you, is born.
Chef Ana Inácio, an Alentejo native in root and heart, prepares a meal on-site that celebrates what is most authentic about the Alentejo.
Commitment to Sustainability
In the Lusitanian Style, sustainability is a guiding principle behind our activities. We have installed solar panels on 50% of our homes, with the aim of reaching 100% soon. We provide recycling bins at all our sites; at Monte Lusitano in Grândola, we reuse rainwater and practise composting.
In Porto Covo, we raise guests' awareness about the preservation of the beaches and cliffs of the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park. In Grândola, we promote respect for the ecosystems of the coastline and the Serra (hills), including the Melides Lagoon and the Sado Estuary.
We transparently disclose our sustainability policies and actions on our website and social media, reinforcing our commitment to continuous improvement and environmental conservation.
