Grândola Duathlon 2025

The Grândola Duathlon 2025 will take place on March 16th, cementing its status as one of the most iconic events on the national duathlon calendar. The competition, organised by the Municipality of Grândola and Clube Amiciclo, with the technical support of the Portuguese Triathlon Federation, expects the participation of approximately 500 children and 300 adults, who will face a challenge combining speed, endurance, and strategy.

A test for all competitive levels

Welcoming the 2nd Stage of the National Club Championship, the National Individual Duathlon Championship, and the 1st Stage of the National Youth Championship, from the Portuguese Triathlon Federation's competitive calendar, the event also includes the National Paraduathlon Championship and an Open Race, allowing non-federated athletes to participate, individually or in relays.

The competition will be contested over the Sprint distance, with a course comprising an initial 5 km run, followed by 19 km of cycling and finishing with a 2.5 km run. The junior events will have distances adapted to the different age groups and the cycling segments will be contested on mountain bikes within the Grândola Fair and Exhibition Park.

Registration for all races is open until 11:59 PM on March 3rd and must be completed via the Portuguese Triathlon Federation website (http://www.federacao-triatlo.pt/ftp2015/aplicacao-de-gestao-ftp/).
