In March, Grândola is Youth!

In Grândola, the lights are ready to illuminate Youth Month, which is being celebrated from March 2nd to 29th, 2024. This year, the annual celebration gains even more prominence with unique concerts by Capicua, Valete, and Hybrid Theory, a tribute band to the eternal Linkin Park, in a fusion of talent, rhythm, and musical homages that promise to elevate the experience of this unique event.

Capicua: Hip-Hop Poetry and Rhythm

Capicua is an undeniable force in the Portuguese hip-hop and rap scene. With a career spanning over a decade, the artist has won awards and hearts. Her unique fusion of poetry and rhythm comes to the Grândola Fair and Exhibition Park on March 8th, promising to get the crowd's adrenaline pumping.

Valete: The Power of Portuguese Rap

Valete is one of the most prominent figures in Portuguese rap. With a career that began in the late 90s, a time when he started sharing his first rhymes, the mark he leaves on Portuguese music is indestructible. His high-energy performances have already captivated audiences in Portugal and beyond, and it is with this same electrifying vibe that the youth of Grândola will receive the artist on March 16th.

Hybrid Theory: A Tribute to Linkin Park

The band Hybrid Theory needs no introduction when it comes to tributes. Inspired by the legacy of the iconic Linkin Park, they masterfully recreate the hits of the band that shaped a generation, drawing a legion of fans wherever they go. On March 23rd, they will come to Grândola to recapture the intensity of the American band, in what is expected to be a unique, emotional concert with a chorus of voices singing hits like «Numb» or «In The End» in unison.

In March, Grândola will transform into a symphony of voices and chords, where Capicua, Valete, and Hybrid Theory will be exquisite maestros of this celebration of youth. Unforgettable nights are anticipated, which will transcend musical and artistic boundaries, in a celebration of the past, present, and future, aiming to reinforce the crucial role that youth plays in building a strong and resilient community.

The full programme will be available shortly for more details about the event.
