At Ecoalga, you can discover the local marine life, with regular diving trips in Sines or Porto Covo.

Regular Dive

Excursions take place in Porto Covo from May to October, and in Sines from October to May. Activities are subject to prevailing weather conditions and vessel availability.

Baptism by immersion

Realize o seu Diving baptism with bottle On Pessegueiro Island, departing from Porto Covo. The vessel “BICA” has a maximum capacity of 8 passengers and the minimum number of participants per trip is 2 people. The actual duration of the activity depends on the participants' air consumption, varying between 10 and 40 minutes.

Freediving baptism

As Boat trips, Departing from Porto Covo, these trips are held at the end of the day and explore the region between Porto Covo and Praia do Malhão, to the south. The aim of the trips is to observe cetaceans or the sunset over the Atlantic Ocean. The maximum duration of the trip is 3 hours and the boat capacity is 8 participants per trip.

Sport fishing

Bottom fishing, Spear fishing e corrico, with your own equipment or equipment provided by the partner. Activity starts at the Sines Leisure Marina at 6:30 am, returning to the same location at 4 pm. Activity carried out only upon presentation of a valid licence or with its purchase on board. The duration of the activity depends on the catch limit, with a maximum of 8 hours (established by decree-law).

Astronomy

We bring the stars to your home. For 3 hours, we will show you “our” sky and the most important celestial bodies. First, we will introduce you to the celestial chart, followed by the setup of the telescope and viewing of the main objects in the firmament. We will conclude with the identification of constellations, mythology in the sky, and scientific curiosities.

Spearfishing

Practice Spearfishing At our company. Activity with time defined by the number of catches or a maximum limit of 6 hours. A valid licence and a minimum of 2 people are required to carry out the activity.
