Situado no coração da planície alentejana, o Monte Lusitano foi concebido como o retiro ideal que sempre imaginámos para as nossas férias. Com base nessa experiência, partilhamos convosco algumas sugestões para melhor desfrutarem da região. A poucos quilómetros a sul encontra-se a Costa Vicentina, onde o Atlântico se encontra com falésias imponentes e praias de beleza selvagem. A norte, a Península de Tróia oferece extensos areais, águas cristalinas e a possibilidade de avistar golfinhos no estuário do Sado.
No regresso, aproveitem a churrasqueira ao ar livre e deixem-se encantar pelo entardecer sereno desta paisagem.

The Tróia Peninsula is a destination full of attractions that are well worth exploring. Here you will find a casino, a variety of restaurants, and white sandy beaches that stretch along the Atlantic coast.
Be sure to visit the Roman Ruins of Tróia, the largest industrial fish-salting complex known in the Roman world, built in the 1st century and in use until the 6th century.
We also recommend a visit to the Carrasqueira Stilt Village, a masterpiece of vernacular architecture, built on wooden stilts, which offers a unique view of the Sado estuary.
The Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park stretches from São Torpes, south of Sines, to Burgau, in the Algarve, along over 100 km of Atlantic coastline. It is considered one of the best-preserved stretches of European coastline, harbouring diverse and unique species of fauna and flora.
The landscape is marked by rugged cliffs, secluded beaches and rich biodiversity, making it a prime destination for lovers of nature and tranquility.
We suggest you explore beyond the beaches of Porto Covo, São Torpes and the famous Ilha do Pessegueiro, discovering the natural charms that this park has to offer.
The water supplied from the indoor taps in the house is potable and suitable for human consumption. However, the water from the taps installed on the walls
The exterior comes from a borehole and should not be consumed. This water is intended for non-potable use only, such as garden irrigation or washing utensils.
To ensure the safety and well-being of our guests, we kindly ask that you do not use water from the external taps for consumption.
Animals are welcome at the Mount.

Swan Lake & Duck Lake Explore the tranquil lakes of Mount Lusitano, where you can observe swans and ducks swimming serenely.
Educational Farm Visit our educational farm, where you will find pygmy goats, peacocks, pheasants, free-range laying hens, doves, pigeons, and our Lusitano mares.
If you are travelling with children, take advantage not only of the small playground at Monte D’Vagar but also of the playground in the common area of Monte Lusitano, which is ideal for moments of fun and leisure. This area is intended for children up to 11 years of age and always requires adult supervision.
Children must always be accompanied by an adult.
For safety reasons, diving or jumping into the water is not permitted.
After cleaning the house, we left a cleaning robot in the swimming pool. We ask that you remove it before using the pool.
You can put it back at the end of the day. The cycle lasts two hours and can be switched off at any time.
A maintenance from the pool takes place between the 08:00 and 09:00, every 48 hours
O Monte D´Vagar by Estilo Lusitano offers bicycles of various sizes for its guests to use.
In the event of a power failure or a fault in the automatic gate system, use the release key included in your set of keys. Insert it into the lock located on the automation motor and turn it to unlock the mechanism.
From this moment on, the gate can be operated manually.
