In the heart of the picturesque historic centre of Porto Covo, Casa da Baía by Estilo Lusitano opens its doors to those seeking more than just a place to stay: a place to feel. Here, amidst cobbled lanes and whitewashed houses, you can breathe in the authentic charm of the Alentejo coast, enveloped in simple, welcoming elegance.

Casa da Baía is a tribute to tradition and the sea. It preserves the soul of the village's typical houses – with their blue facades and genuine architectural features – combining it with the comfort and aesthetic sensitivity of a contemporary retreat. Each room has been designed to provide calm and well-being, with natural materials, soft textures, and understated decoration, where the detail makes all the difference.

Outside, the village pulses with tranquil life. A few steps away, you'll find the central square, local markets, fresh fish restaurants… and the ocean. From the house, you can hear the seagulls, feel the sea air, and see the sparkle of the Atlantic in the distance. At the end of the day, the sunset paints the walls gold and invites quiet reflection.

Badoca Safari Park – 24 min (30 km)

Fort of Pessegueiro Island Ilha do Pessegueiro, with its historic forts, is a highlight of the Alentejo coast. The Forte de Dentro and the Forte de Fora bear witness to the past and offer stunning views.

Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park Porto Covo is part of this protected park, where wild nature and imposing cliffs meet. The crystalline waters of beaches like Praia Grande, Praia dos Buizinhos, and Praia da Samoqueira invite you for a refreshing dip.

Circular Trails and Unique Sunset Explore the circular trails that wind along the coast, revealing breathtaking views. At the end of the day, the sun paints the sky with golden hues, creating a magical sunset over the sea.

Outdoor Activities in Porto Covo - The coastal waters of Porto Covo are ideal for fishing. Try your luck with line fishing or enjoy an offshore experience. The waves off the Alentejo coast attract surfers and bodyboarders. Praia Grande is particularly known for its favourable conditions. Explore the underwater world around Pessegueiro Island. The rocky reefs and shipwrecks offer fantastic habitats for various marine species.

Swimming pool

Children must always be accompanied by an adult.

For safety reasons, diving or jumping into the water is not permitted.

After cleaning the house, we left a cleaning robot in the swimming pool. We ask that you remove it before using the pool.

You can put it back at the end of the day. The cycle lasts two hours and can be switched off at any time.

The outdoor flooring is non-slip, however, we advise you to be careful if it is wet.
